Eckert Seamans believes that its attorneys have an obligation to contribute to the welfare of the communities in which the firm has offices, including providing legal services to those who need such services, but cannot otherwise afford them. The firm's attorneys perform a variety of services on a pro bono basis and the firm participates in pro bono programs through local bar associations and courts.
The firm encourages all attorneys to participate in pro bono activities. To provide an additional incentive for associates to participate in pro bono matters, associates are credited 50 hours toward their annual billable hours target.
