Thomas G. Oakes, II has joined the Philadelphia office of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC as an Associate in the firm’s Litigation Division.
Oakes concentrates his practice in the area of general civil litigation with a particular emphasis on product liability defense, multidistrict litigation, and mass tort litigation, including the representation of automotive manufacturers. He earned his J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Drexel University. Oakes is currently enrolled in the MBA program at Villanova, with an expected graduation date of May 2013. He is pending admittance in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
