Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, a full-service national law firm, is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Nathaniel C. Wilks to the Intellectual Property Group in Pittsburgh.
Nate Wilks is a registered patent attorney whose practice is focused on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications across a wide variety of electrical and mechanical technologies, including printers and copiers, semiconductor devices, LCD displays, hard drives, audio and video signal processing, media player devices, mobile phones, computer networking, telecommunications, digital rights management, medical imaging, and software. Prior to practicing law, he worked as an engineer for Boeing, where he developed antenna systems for unmanned aircraft. Wilks earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and his undergraduate degree, with distinction, from The Pennsylvania State University.
