Jacobs-Meadway focuses her practice on trademark, copyright, unfair competition law and related licensing and litigation in the federal courts and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She has also served as mediator in numerous trademark and copyright disputes. Specifically, Meadway assists clients on such issues as: counseling on trademark litigation against terminated foreign distributors; developing global programs for trademark protection; coordinating litigation in diverse jurisdictions against foreign sellers of counterfeit copies of client’s products; and analyzing availability and risk assessment for global brands in the pharmaceutical industry.
