Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, LLC, a full-service national law firm, is adding up to 15 contract attorneys to its White Plains office to assist with increasing client e-discovery and information management demands, including the preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of all types of electronically stored information. Eckert Seamans has led the legal industry in e-discovery contract hires over the past 10 years helping to successfully guide clients through the ever-changing landscape of document production in litigation.

“Our need for experienced e-discovery attorneys has recently increased and we are very pleased to bring these jobs to the Westchester area” said Steven R. Kramer, Member-In-Charge of Eckert Seamans’ White Plains office. “We were able to find the skill set we needed from within the region,” he added. The office's commercial law and litigation practice provides representation to a broad range of local, national and international clients in federal and state courts. The additional contract attorneys will work in the firm’s Bank Street offices in White Plains.

Eckert Seamans’ experience in e-discovery is broadly based on focused assignments ranging from corporate internal investigations to handling the document production for some of the largest litigation matters in the United States involving tens of millions of documents. The firm has extensive experience in a broad range of matters involving information and risk management, electronic document review and discovery as well as serving as e-discovery counsel for multiple U.S. and foreign companies in mass tort litigations.
