The national law firm Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC announced that Member John E. Quinn was recently honored for his 25 years of dedicated service to the Board of Directors of Carson Valley Children’s Aid.
Carson Valley Children's Aid is a non-profit child welfare agency with a distinguished history of service to children and families, offering a comprehensive continuum of care commitment to strengthening children, families and neighborhoods by delivering programs and services that respond to today's needs as well as creating programs and services to respond to changing needs. Carson Valley Children's Aid has Neighborhood Centers located in Philadelphia and Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
John Quinn represents both organized and unorganized employers in all aspects of employee relations. He has defended employers in federal and state courts as well as before city, state and federal agencies in matters involving discrimination allegations. He also has defended employers in wrongful discharge cases and other employment-related matters. Mr. Quinn has represented employers before the National Labor Relations Board and the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board in unfair labor practice proceedings as well as in union organizational campaigns. He has participated in numerous contract negotiations with various unions and he has represented employers in arbitration cases. Mr. Quinn earned his law degree from the University of Virginia and his undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from College of the Holy Cross.
