 On May 4th, Eckert Seamans and the Women's Initiative at Eckert welcomed over 100 guests to an Open House at the firm's new office location in Washington, D.C. The evening included comments by Congressman John L. Mica, the Ranking Member of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure. Congressman Mica represents the 7th Congressional District of Florida, which stretches across six counties from suburban areas north of Orlando to the Jacksonville city limits.
Congressman Mica shared information on a variety of bills that are currently in the Committee and his thoughts on passage of those bills. Guests had the opportunity to meet with the Congressman and to tour the new office space including the view of the city from the roof.
