Nicholas Moraites Joins Eckert Seamans’ Washington, DC Office

Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott, LLC, a full-service national law firm, is pleased to announce that Nicholas T. Moraites has joined the law firm’s litigation practice as an Associate, effective May 3, 2010. He will be based in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Nick Moraites focuses his practice in the area of labor and employment litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he served in the Office of the Magistrate, Supreme Court of Virginia, as Magistrate for the 17th Judicial District. Mr. Moraites is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia, and before the U.S. District Court of the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fourth Circuit; the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces; the U.S. Air Force Court of Criminal Appeals; the U.S. Navy-Marine Court of Criminal Appeals; the Supreme Court of Virginia and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. He earned his LL.M. and J.D., magna cum laude, from the George Mason University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
